Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Cape Clear Ferries (Thar Tonn Teoranta), we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is as follows:
Customer Cancellations
Cancellations and amendments are permitted up to 7 days before the scheduled sailings or date of travel. Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of travel are non-refundable.
Operator Cancellations
In the event that a sailing is cancelled by Cape Clear Ferries (Thar Tonn Teoranta) due to weather conditions, operational reasons, or safety considerations, passengers will be entitled to a full refund. Where possible, passengers may also be offered an alternative sailing.
No-Shows
Failure to arrive for a booked sailing without prior cancellation will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be issued.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment. Please allow 5–10 working days for refunds to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
